It’s taken about a month to develop but we’ve finally launched our brand new website, complete with pretty pictures and a Blog, which we promise to keep updating with new posts (I’ve seen so many websites with a blog that has one post – ‘welcome to our new website”, posted about 3 years ago).
Smart IT, a young and dynamic IT Solutions provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its expanding team based in Gateshead and Newcastle.
Your role will be to sell IT Solutions and Services to new and existing corporate customers through Account Management of existing customers and creation of new accounts.
Shaun Simpson joins Smart IT as an IT Support Engineer, Shaun brings a raft of expertise to Smart IT Support adding to our already very impressive Engineering department.
Today Smart IT have completed the purchase of new premises to be converted into Smart IT’s new offices in the centre of Team Valley Trading Estate.
We’ve been in our current office for around 18 months now but already we’ve outgrown it, and with two vacancies currently advertised and another graphic designer role coming up soon, we need bigger premises before the walls give way!
July has been another record breaking month for turnover, sales and new customers.
In July 2011, Smart IT’s team have managed to secure 11 new contracts for their professional IT services, whilst competing against some of the biggest IT providers in the area.
Creative Website and Graphic Designer required to join our design team at Smart IT.
The role will mainly involve creating websites therefore the applicant must have excellent skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, PHP, HTML and CSS.
There will also be a variety of other design work including brand development (logos, business cards and letterheads) and brochure design.
Skills in SEO, website maintenance and copywriting would be an advantage.

Every time a customer calls our service desk with an issue, we record this into our ticketing system. Once the issue has been resolved our ticketing system sends a survey to the customer asking the customer to rate us out of 5 (provided we have the customers email address on record).
